Butterscotch Brownies

1 Cup Butter

1 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar

1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract

2 Eggs

2 Cups Flour

1 Teaspoon Baking Powder

1 2/3 Cups Butterscotch Chips, Divided

1 Cup Chopped Nuts

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cream butter, brown sugar and vanilla together.
  3. Add eggs and beat until creamy.
  4. Combine flour and baking powder in a large bowl; stir into creamed mixture until well blended.
  5. Add 1 cup of the butterscotch chips and nuts; mix well.
  6. Spread into an ungreased 9 x 13 baking pan.
  7. Sprinkle with remaining butterscotch chips
  8. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
  9. Cool in pan on wire rack then cut into bars.
